EXPERIENCE

Sonja started her career in short-term insurance in 1989 as an underwriter. In 2008 she joined the Welwitschia Insurance Brokers team.

Her focus and area of expertise is Aviation Insurance. In addition to her Certificate of Proficiency from IISA and several Certificates in Short-term Insurance from UNISA, she has also obtained an Intermediary and Extended Aviation Certificate from the Insurance Institute and attended an International Aviation Course in London. She has obtained her NQF4 Insurance Certification in 2023.
