EXPERIENCE

Elaine Schlechter is a Certified International Retail Banker after having completed her IRB qualification in London in 2014. Her list of various qualifications also includes an Estate Agent Certificate, Certificate of Proficiency in Short-term Insurance, an Executive Development Program (USB) and various Short Commercial courses.

After starting her career as an Enquiry Clerk at Boland Bank in 1988, she has transitioned through various senior positions, including as Senior Manager Bancassurance, Executive Director of National Sales, Chief Operating Officer and Nedbank Namibia Executive Wealth Management and Bancassurance. Today she is the Chief Executive Officer at Welwitschia Insurance Brokers.

Her representation on various boards and committees are extensive.
